Product Description
KIJI
Designed by Noé Duchaufour-Lawrance
Manufacturer by Ligne Roset
In keeping with his Estampe storage, Noé Duchaufour-Lawrance
brings us these graceful occasional tables, reapplying himself to the
very modern association of wood – this time oak – and linoleum,
a natural material rarely used on furniture. The end result is a
slender, willowy table, the top of which seems to balance on a slim
base which itself is complex in its geometry.
The design of Kiji finds its origin in the language of wood as it
might have evolved in Scandinavian countries. That said, there is
no hint of nostalgia in this pedestal table, the streamlined shape
of which is born entirely of its function. A shape which just asks to
slot between two armchairs for use as a sofa end table, where it
faithfully serves the needs of its users. The name Kiji is inspired by
its shape.
